Fishing Parc Jean Drapeau

Decided to go out to fish Parc Jean Drapeau in downtown Montreal for a few hours, hoping to hit some more walleye. We really had a very limited schedule, got there at about 11:00 AM. Walleye were nowhere to be found, though I did catch 6 smallmouth bass. Incredibly, they hit on the 3/4 OZ and 1 OZ jigs I was retriving, despite being in the 12 to 14 inch range. All were live released in good health, bass season is still closed for another month.
